My husband and I are accustomed to getting monthly massages, so we know the difference between a good massage and a bad one. We decided to try Viva Day Spa during a recent visit to Austin and they were amazing! The facility was nice, clean, and calming. The staff was also super pleasant. Our masseuses were very professional and skillful. It was clear that they understood body/muscle anatomy. We left feeling fantastic and relaxed. We definitely recommend!

I went here for the first time for my birthday. My boyfriend and I received the Couple’s Package. This was so amazing, the experience was absolutely great. I read on their website that they were not going to do the sauna for us due to covid, which was fine. But once we entered, the 2 people who were going to be tending to us said that because we booked during a certain time, that we were able to get the sauna. This was a pleasant surprise and very much was welcomed. We were waited on hand and foot (literally) and we were able to just relax and enjoy. This was a great time to start my birthday celebration and I am happy that Viva was able to make it special and memorable.

I can not say enough great things about this place, and I give all the credit to my esthetician ERIKA! I started seeing her in May when I began getting very bad hormonal (cystic) acne. I have never seen my face so badly broken out, and I honestly felt hopeless. She has seriously turned my whole face around with hydra facials and her skin care recommendations. If anyone is feeling bad about their skin and want to feel better from the inside out, you have found the right place.

I have been going to this gym a little over a month and I’m obsessed to say the least! I’ve fallen in love with their variety of class selections most of all. Everyone at this gym is very welcoming and super nice.

The premium is worth it for this facility. I never had to wait for weights. The patrons were nice and friendly. Also, lgbt-friendly. Never felt uncomfortable. They were completely reasonable with cancellations policy. They provide you all the resources for a comfortable workout.

I went to get a hair style for an event and was over price for the horrible job that was done. My hair was frizzy even with the bottle of hairspray that the stylist applied. Even with an “experience” stylist the hairdo came undone a few hours later. I wanted something different but for what I got and what I paid I could of done a better job myself. Do not spend your money here not worth it!

I saw their promotion on Groupon and call them to book an appointment. I asked if they have availability on saturday or sunday. The lady was like “no, unfortunatelly, we don’t. Have a good day” she even didn’t recommend any other day and then I asked her “when is the closest availability? Next week works too ” and she said that she is on the call with another customer and will call back! And then I looked their website they have all day availability on Saturday and Sunday!! as I figured!! So, when I told her I want to purchase it from Groupon she didn’t want to give service! Terrible attitude!! I wouldn’t recommend to get any services from them! They even don’t know how to speak with a customer. How can they provide a good service?

I had a excellent massage. I travel for work and go to spas all over the world and by far this was the best massage I’ve ever had. Every one was friendly accommodating but the massage was absolutely fantastic. The therapist is in tune and knows exactly what to do. I will definitely be back when I am in town again.

Ugo was simply divine. One of the best deep tissue massages I have ever had. Her pressure was perfect. She has an amazing bed side manner. The facility was perfect. Temperature was perfect! I will be back

First haircut experience at this location was outstanding and I returned for a second cut. 30 minute haircut lasted 15 minutes and was awful. Paid $40 and received a hack job. She barely cut any hair and left the sides unblended. No neck massage either. Seemed like she just wanted me out of the chair. Definitely will NOT return to this location.

I’ve been going to Alite for laser hair removal and all of my experiences and interactions with the staff have been great. The front desk staff is quick to answer any questions I have. When I’m having my procedures done, I’m asked numerous times about my comfort level. They are all very sweet and considerate. Next up, IPL!

I really enjoyed going to this salon! Kari was the one who worked on my hair, and she did an amazing job. I had half my hair split dyed violet and then covered with black dye. She was able to lift the black and the violet pigment out of my hair in one session, allowing me to get my hair re-dyed back to my natural color (dark brown), without any weird pink undertones. She also cut my hair and did a great job at giving it shape and movement, especially since I have a ton of hair. The salon was also very cute and had a calming aura about it. I highly recommend this salon!

Two goof ups, one after another. To begin with, there was a mix up with my appointment. I had requested for hair Color and a diva cut and they had completely different services booked on their record. I got a stylist I had NOT asked for. I still went ahead with the hair Color as I pre-booked these services for my birthday and I just couldn’t postpone. But the way my hair was managed was ‘rough’, right from the wash all the way to blow dry.

Now for the cut, I had to return the following day first thing in the morning as they couldn’t accommodate me the same day. I adjusted and showed up at 9am only to find out that the stylist couldn’t perform a cut on my ‘blow dried’ hair from the previous day. While I understand the stylist’s constraint, I believe it was highly unprofessional on the salon’s part to not have given proper instructions to me before my appointment. I had to leave without a haircut as the salon was not capable of providing an instant resolution , or perhaps not willing to go the extra mile to make up for their own mistakes.

My time was not respected & I had a horrible experience on both occasions. Definitely not coming back here!

Jen is the BEST!!! She is the absolute sweetest and so talented with hair I recommend her so much. This salon is very nice and the front desk people are so friendly as well. I am in love with my new hair, I started going here when I had very dark hair which is my natural color, and I’ve been able to lighten it a lot and my hair is super healthy. I really recommend Jen she is beyond incredible!

I have been going here for years, for waxing, pedicures and haircuts. They have great people who provide such services. The most frustrating thing about this business is their online booking doesn’t match their availability when you call to make a appointment. There are numerous times you call and they tell you that they are completely booked, yet online they are 3+ openings for various times.

Zee is the truuuth! I came in a lil nervous, but she made me feel so comfortable and listened to everything I wanted (and didn’t want) for my hair. I had an appointment for a haircut, which includes a shampoo and a blowout, and she did all of it. She gave me beautiful long, soft layers and kept my hair at the length I wanted. She also offered advice on how to protect my hair from environmental stress during my upcoming vacation. An actual angel let me tell you. I definitely plan seeing Zee for semi-regular cuts.

At the front desk, Steven was amazing, too. After I booked the appointment online, he noticed I said I have very long hair so he called to let me know the appointment may take extra time, and asked if I might come in 15 minutes early. When I got there, he came out to find me as I wondered the streets cluelessly (the store is pretty obvious so don’t worry about that, I was just anxious lol).

They also were super accommodating even though I was ~10 minutes late. Overall, I had a really wonderfully experience here and would absolutely recommend.

I absolutely love this salon! I have been getting Brazilian Blowouts since 2011. I have never ever had them be as thorough or last as long as the ones ive gotten here! Micah is an absolute sweetheart and hair whisperer! She takes her time, gets to know you, and your hair. Every suggestion she has made for the health of my hair has been incredible! I never feel rushed, and leave beaming! We did a full balayage this time and I was pretty scared. The last time I had professional hair color I went home and cried it was so awful and felt they didnt listen at all ): Micah did an incredible job explaining the reality of the colors and process it would take to achieve a lighter color for my near black hair. Recommend Micah 15/10. Here is before and after, hair is only blow dried and still sooo smooth!

Dr. Speck and the team at Westlake Dermatology are outstanding. I highly recommend becoming a patient here. Dr. Speck is very thorough and takes the time to explain everything. On one occasion she recommended surgery to remove cancerous cells and the surgeon was great. For annual skin checks or any derm needs I can’t say enough good things about this office. The patient experience is great, I am confident I am getting the best care. They have an easy to use patient portal, or call in and speak to their efficient and very kind team.

I found this salon on Instagram and was inspired by their work. I went in and Nicole was extremely welcoming and great to talk to. Also, the salon is stunning and they have a great atmosphere to be in and relax. I showed her a few pictures and she did magic on my hair. She made my hair look better than it ever has looked. I will for sure be a client of hers for as long as she will have me! Definitely recommend this salon.

Favorite salon I’ve ever been to. They listen and do whatever they can to accomplish what you want with YOUR hair. Nicole and Roxy have both done my hair- they are both amazing, sweet, and talented.
The products they use are high quality, smell gosh darn delicious, and they don’t “guilt” you into purchasing (I have felt this other places).
I love that I can ask questions on why they are doing this or how to do this at home with styling & hair health.
The salon is beautiful, open, bright, and filled with lovely people helping.

I’m in town visiting for the weekend and booked a day in advance. The receptionist was very accommodating and flexible considering the tight schedule. Yun was quick and efficient. I was in and out in an hour which is mind blowing to me considering the quality of her work. She’s precise and the tools she used were clean. I was treated to a pedicure at this salon today with a group of work associates. VERY cute and clean space. Fell in love with the vibe. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly throughout my visit.

The pedicure itself was ok. It is different than the soak pedis most people are used to but my skin felt nice and my feet were clean. Minimal attention to my cuticles, and the outcome was varying shape nails (some square, some rounded and a couple literally at an angle) and a very very mediocre polish job. I received 2 VERY thin coats of my polish color and this evening upon really looking at my toes, discovered that only 8 of my 10 toenails received a topcoat.

Overall do my toes and feet look better than when I walked in? Yes. But for a $75 pedicure it literally looked like the quality of job I get when I do them myself and I am not a nail tech. Had an enjoyable afternoon in a very nice space, but I would have been horrified if it had been $75 +tip of my own money I spent for a pedicure at what they describe as a “luxury” salon.

We had a fabulous experience with milk & honey spa from start to finish. We were in Austin for my friend’s 50th birthday and booked our group for massages and facials. Amanda, who set everything up for us, was great! She was always quick to respond, booked all of our appointments close together, and was so very nice. We had the best time!! If you are looking for a place to escape even for just a few hours look no further. The staff was incredible, atmosphere was relaxing and this was just what I needed to disconnect for a bit before the start of a conference I was attending.

I did the healthy gel manicure and the lux pedicure and if I find myself back in Austin I will definitely be back and plan to get a massage also!

The locker room was great, there was everything you needed to get ready for your day after any service you receive. Everything was so clean and the staff was so welcoming.

Janet and her staff have gone above and beyond to make me feel comfortable while dealing with new regulations for the Covid virus. I’ve had two haircuts since the salon has reopened and both visits were great.

Janet is very talented. She worked in NYC before relocating to Austin. She spends a lot of time with you making suggestions on the perfect style for you and step by step instructions on how to execute it on your own. Her cut is so good that you can go a long time between appointments. Janet will suggest products and tools to keep you salon looking fresh between appointments. She has a cool study whose vibe makes you want to go back.

After having to transition from multiple salons that were unable to figure out how to give me gray coverage with my preferred color, I found Janet St. Paul Studio for Hair and Beauty almost 3 years ago and have never looked back! The level of professionalism at this salon is impeccable. It is truly client-centered, and egos are left at the door in order to communicate with clients and produce excellent results. I have worked with multiple stylists at the salon, and all have been sincerely interested in my satisfaction, and encourage feedback to reach perfection. The salon is beautiful and the staff keep it clean and orderly ALWAYS. Last, the personalized attention that the salon management gave to clients during the pandemic truly showed their true colors- they genuinely care about their customers as human beings. They also have gone the extra mile to keep us all safe with investments in added safety standards, which I greatly appreciate. Daniel Kim is my current stylist and I am extremely happy with my cut (curly hair) and my highlighted, copper hair.

Gorgeous property, but it’s odd to me that this location doesn’t offer a jacuzzi, steam room, or sauna. I wouldn’t spend their pricing just for a massage or facial that you can get for less at places like Viva.
